participatory planning
Participatory planning means the participation of future users in the planning process. The planning is clearly oriented to their needs.
Instead of directly asking “what do you want?”, we use questionnaires, wish-boxes or workshops and get an idea about people’s needs and the desired atmosphere.
From the architect, participatory planning requires a certain openness and reflectiveness. Own ideas and conceptions are put aside, the own perspective is extended by many more.
Since it is about spaces that the participants use themselves, they are usually highly motivated. According to our experiences, the users accept the co-designed places much better. They identify with them.
conversion: housing and utilization concepts
Uncovering the abandoned, breathing new life into the forgotten, transforming places and spaces, designing concepts for urban and rural development: That’s what inspires us!
Every place has a special atmosphere that we want to bring to life. Conversion can be an attempt to capture the charm of a historic place, to preserve it and at the same time initiate a transformation to something new.
An existing place often shows remnants of the past, layers of plaster, layers of history… What happened in this place? Were the spaces rather quiet or very lively? What angles and corners particularly impress us today, and why?
In our eyes, a new concept is successful if it finds a connection to the old use – and leaves some space for thinking further.
witty & without frills: interior design
Specific interior planning allows surprisingly themed hostels, creative childcare centers and schools for well-being. Further, we assist people in the interior planning of their living spaces.
The interior design of a space is developed based on a concept of use. It becomes a composition of ideas of the initiator, the ideas of the users and the individual style.
How would we describe our style? Rather colorful than grey, atmospheric, abstract and witty, but without frills.

district development: how do we want to live in the future?
The aim of our approaches to district development is to create beautiful and lively neighborhoods with an own identity.
A neighborhood usually develops from structures that have grown historically. Sites, spaces and buildings are connected, for example, by pathways and green spaces.
Residential, commercial, social and cultural areas come together and are connected. Short distances characterize the neighborhood, as do vibrant meeting places. An atmosphere is created that corresponds to us as social beings and influences us in many ways. Keeping the historical context in mind, it is important to see and strengthen the special characteristics of the site during further development.
